another brick in the golden road
If Jordan Peterson were responsible for handing you the blue pill, he might say something like this.
In the Matrix, Neo serves as a Christ-like figure, a symbol of hope and redemption. However, this archetype can also become a source of delay and complacency. It's tempting to wait for a savior to arrive and set things right, but that mindset can prevent us from taking responsibility for our own lives and making necessary changes.
We must resist the urge to passively wait for a hero to save us. Instead, we should strive to take control of our own destiny and steer our lives in the right direction. Waiting for the One, the ultimate solution to our problems, is a fruitless endeavor. We must learn to confront the challenges that face us and overcome them on our own.
Opening our Third Eye, as some might call it, can help us see the world more clearly and understand our place in it. But we should not rely on some mystical force to guide us. We must use our own intellect and reason to make sense of the world and our place in it.
So, let's not put all our hopes in Neo or any other messianic figure. The One, as it turns out, has been with us all along, and it's up to us to recognize and embrace it.
